Here you will meet our local private guide for a 2 hour walking tour of the archaeological site. You will learn all about the eruption of Vesuvius that destroyed the town, as well as the inhabitants of Pompeii, their life and traditions. You will admire the ancient Domus with beautiful frescoes, Roman squares, taverns and baths.

After your visit to Pompeii, your Pompeii and Vesuvius Volcano shore trip will continue as you proceed with our private driver up to Mount Vesuvius Volcano’s slopes where you will enjoy a panoramic view over the stunning Bay of Naples. With your private English-speaking driver you can climb up as far as private vehicles are permitted to travel on Mount Vesuvius. If you wish to reach the top of the Vesuvius’ crater you can choose on site to pay the entrance fee and hike up to the top- be sure to have a bottle of water in hand and plenty of energy!
